Valencia hosts the Global Champions Tour, Grand Prix of Spain
From 8 to 9 May 2009, the Global Champions Tour, the most prestigious ecuestrian circuit in the world, will visit the city of Valencia. The event will take place at the City or Arts and Sciences.
The GCT comprises several showjumping series of international category, carried out in different emblematic cities.
the Turia Gardens will turn into the “The Horse Garden” where different promotional and leisure activities relating to this horse sport will take place.
This Prix will count on the participation of the best 30 riders in the world as well as 160 competition horses. The event will be celebrated during three days with five daily heats and will have a worldwide coverage in more than 60 countries.
Valencia will be host of this world-class event up to 2011. It will be held in the area of the Principe Felipe Museum which will be the spot for the competition course. Besides, the Turia Gardens will turn into the “The Horse Garden” where different promotional and leisure activities relating to this horse sport will take place.






First the America’s Cup, then the F1 and now this! Valencia It’s becoming a reference city related to events, … fortunately I’ll be there next month again
