The aim of the exhibition “Prints of fairs and markets (18th and 20th centuries)” is to recall the role of these business meetings in the traditional society, the real link between the great fairs of medieval and modern times, and specialized markets and monographic samples we know today. The Bancaja Cultural Center presents Joan Miró’s Evoking the Female Image, on view through June 21, 2009. The exhibition was organized together with the Joan and Pilar Miro Foundation. After two years in the city of Venice, the world’s first global festival for the media industry will be moving to Valencia in 2009. The Festival will be held 19 – 21 April 2009.
