The first Falla built abroad has come to Valencia after 22 days of journey by sea from Argentina, where the artist Federico Felici has been commissioned to design the monument by the Vall de Laguar-Padre Ferris Committee.
Ricardo Galan, the person in charge of this committee, explained that they considered that “the distance was not an obstacle” and voted that the monument remained in Felici’s hands, who had been their artist in previous festivals in Valencia, but now was residing in his country.

Spring is just around the corner and Valencia is paying its own special tribute with its Fallas festivals, an event declared to be of International Tourist Interest. Fire, gunpowder, music and colour invade every corner of the city on the River Turia between 15th and 19th March.
