Carlos Acosta and The Royal Ballet come to the Palau de les Arts
The Cuban dancer, one of the most outstanding figures of today, will present a show with choreographies by Robbins, Stevenson, MacMillan and Balanchine.
Tomorrow at 20.00, the ballet returns to the Palau de les Arts Reina Sofía in the hands of Carlos Acosta and The Royal Ballet (Guest Artists) after the success in public and review of the last season. The world famous Cuban star will deploy his elegance and seduction on the stage of the Main Hall of the arts center in a performance that the public will enjoy next 24, 26, 27 and April 28.
Carlos Acosta, considered by the specialized press as the Nureyev’s successor and new Nijinski with Guest Artists from The Royal Ballet, the first ballet company in the United Kingdom, based in Covent Garden, London, will offer a show with choreographies by great figures of modern dance as Jerome Robbins, Ben Stevenson, George Balanchine and Kenneth MacMillan.
Paul Murphy, music director of the Birmingham Royal Ballet, will himself conduct the Orquestra of the Comunitat Valenciana.
