More than 10,000 tickets already sold for the Valencia Open 500

Three months before the tournament begins, more than 10,000 tickets have already been sold.  The most popular tickets are those for the final phase of the competition in the Ágora building.

The tickets for the Valencia Open 500 went on sale on 15th June and since then more than 10,000 have already been reserved, almost 20% of the total capacity.  The most popular tickets so far are those for the semi-finals and the final, which will be played on 7th and 8th November.

72061257WJ186_Australian_OpThe announcement that Fernando Verdasco, one of the best players in Spain, together with the already confirmed presence of top 5 ATP stars Murray and Roddick and of Valencia-born Ferrero and Ferrer, have helped to reach this total. The organization believes the rate of ticket sales is very positive for the tournament given that this is the first edition and adds that bearing in mind that the capacity is limited we recommend that those people that wish to attend reserve their tickets in advance.

For the moment all the tickets that have been sold are for games to be played in the Ágora building, situated in the City of Arts and Sciences, whose installations will be inaugurated for the tournament.  Tickets for games on court 1 will go on sale at a later date.  Gold Tickets, premium seats with access to the VIP zone and a ticket to the VIP restaurant, are also available to the general public.  In addition, the Valencia Open 500 will be open to all tennis fans that visit the City of Arts and Sciences, as they will have free entrance to the FUNPARK, an area that includes the commercial, leisure and refreshments zone, as the ticket is only needed to access the courts.
