The IVAM Jazz Ensemble and Dominique Di Piazza  open the festival ‘Jazz a l’IVAM 09′ today at 11.00 pm. The performance will take place in the terrace of the Modern Art Museum, IVAM, and the entry is free until full capacity.

On this occasion the IVAM Jazz Ensemble, conducted by Ximo Tebar, will be joined by the famous French bassist Dominique Di Piazza . We will also enjoy the participation of Michael Lecoq (piano), Ramon Cardo (sax) Ximo Tebar (guitar) and Donald Edwards (drums).

The festival will continue up to 17 September with performances by Joan Soler and end on 24th September with a concert by the pianists Bob Seeley and Lluís Coloma.

Listen to Dominique Di Piazza, one of the greatest bassist ever… and meet him today at the IVAM.
