The IVAM Jazz Ensemble and Dominique Di Piazza  open the festival ‘Jazz a l’IVAM 09′ today at 11.00 pm. The performance will take place in the terrace of the Modern Art Museum, IVAM, and the entry is free until full capacity.
On this occasion the IVAM Jazz Ensemble, conducted by Ximo Tebar, will be joined by the famous French bassist Dominique Di Piazza . We will also enjoy the participation of Michael Lecoq (piano), Ramon Cardo (sax) Ximo Tebar (guitar) and Donald Edwards (drums).

The initial figures released for the summer season have delivered favourable results for the Region of Valencia. In the month of July, the Region was the second most popular destination among Spanish residents for overnight stays, representing 14.5% of the total figure, according to data published by Spain’s National Institute of Statistics (INE).
