Second match ball for Valencia
The dates for the 2nd edition of the Valencia Open 500 have been released. Between 30th October and 7th November, British player Andy Murray will defend the title he won last year.
The event is to take place in El Ágora, located inside the City of Arts and Sciences, world known for other major events such as the Global Champions Tour. The venue’s capacity has been increased this year, giving more than 6000 spectators the opportunity to cheer on the best Spanish and international male tennis players during the competition. This unique building will, once again, become the tournament’s centre court and will host four night sessions.
The remaining courts will be located nearby, as will the practice court, which is to be located within the Science Museum. Onlookers and children will be able to enjoy a sporting atmosphere in the Funpark, which includes large commercial and leisure area.
Entrance is free. During last year’s edition, the ATP tournament was followed by around 56 million homes, whilst the luckiest spectators were able to enjoy live first-class tennis at prices ranging from €10 for children’s tickets to €25 for adults. The organizers also offer court-side seating through the Gold Ticket, with prices ranging from €101 to €141.
