The great white tent of the Veles e Vents building will welcome Cavalia, one of the most impressive equestrian shows in the world.
After touring the US, Canada and Europe, Cirque du Soleil pioneer Normand Latourelle will make a stop in Valencia, bringing this multimedia show of acrobats, tumblers, dancers and jockeys sharing the stage with horses, and offering a different and captivating experience for the most curious of audiences.

From 20th December to 11th January the Science Museum will be introducing new contents related to the “Marvel Superheroes” exhibition, among other activities. The Oceanográfico (aquarium) is holding its first Christmas School at the end of December.

Until January 6th, a huge nativity scene, entitled The Light of the Nativity at the Cathedral, will be on display at the Cathedral of Valencia.
This is the first time a nativity scene has been exhibited in the Cathedral for four centuries and it has been set up opposite the San Luis Obispo Chapel. This nativity scene is 12 metres long by 6 metres wide and consists of 400 pieces.

Last weekend Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat Valenciana (FGV)-Metrovalencia launched a pilot project at the Metrovalencia Colon and Airport stations so that metropolitan transport users can enjoy free access to Wi fi internet.

Valencia has made great progress as a tourist destination with the announcement of a new, direct air connection with New York that Delta Airlines will begin to offer as of next summer. As of June 6, this Mediterranean city will connect with JFK Airport – a regular connection, with four flights per week. This development has come about thanks to the intense efforts of Turismo Valencia and the Valencia regional government’s Ministry of Tourism, entities responsible for tourist promotion in the city and the region, respectively.

The latest stop for the Quantum of Solace promotional tour was in Valencia, Spain. On Thursday, 6 November, fans gathered at the Valencia Palau de las Artes (Palace of the Arts) to get a glimpse of the stars of the 22nd James Bond film walking the red carpet.
