Over a 100.000 kilos of tomatoes will flood the village square. Acid juices fall all over the participants’ clothes. Still there is the ecstacy f the big tomato fight. Tomatoes are thrown with enthusiasm towards friends and opponents alike, everybody immersed in the Tomatina philosophy.
Each year, on the last Wednesday of August, thousands of people plunge themselves in a traditiion that has lasted for 64 years. THey come from all parts of the world, just to feel and live through one of the most unique festivities in summer: La Tomatina.
