Palau de la Música
The Palau de la Musica is considered to be one of the best concert halls in Europe. It is a modern center with exceptional acoustics. The programme includes all type of music, from jazz to classical music and opera. From here you can watch the fountains that have been designed to spout to the beat of the music heard from the Palau throughout the gardens of the old river bed of the Turia.

Palau de Les Arts
The avant-garde Palau de les Artes is the famous Valencia Opera House and part of the City of Arts and Sciences majestic complex. The administration of the company is in the hands of Helga Schmidt, formerly from London’s Royal Opera House from 1973 to 1981. Schmidt has attracted some major artists to be involved with the Palau. It contains the most modern technology and open-air auditoriums for theater, opera and concerts and is a major center of the performing arts in Valencia.

Black Note Club
Black Note is a top choice night out for grooving on jazz, blues, R’n’B, Soul, Funk, Flamenco, Indie, Cabaret and Rock. A friendly place with a crowd ranging from university students, many foreigners to quite some music lovers of the ’60s and ’70s. It is Valencia’s only live music venue that offers concerts nearly every day of the week.

Matisse

Café del Duende
Café del Duende has offered top quality flamenco music in Valencia since 1998. It is renowned for its excellent flamenco on Thursdays and Fridays at 11.30 pm when you can enjoy special live performances ranging from ancient to modern flamenco sounds. Most of the artists are from Valencia, but occasionally there are artists from other regions of Spain. An intimate atmosphere, where actors, storytellers and musicians with amazing talent also have their space on Sundays at 8 pm.
