The Centro del Carmen welcomes “Portraits of the Belle Époque” an exhibition presenting outstanding painters such as Manet, Sorolla, Boldini and Whistler.
The exhibition is focused on the period between the Franco-Prussian and the First World War, known in Europe as Belle Epoque, characterized by a growth and significant economic turmoil policy that has produced great social changes. The portrait, with a significant commercial demand, illustrates the new individualism of a modern man and his interest by the image projected in their social environment.
This weekend BIOPARC Valencia wants to celebrate with you Father’s Day and the birthday of two friendly giraffes. On 19 March, it will be one year from the day of birth of the first baringo giraffe in BIPOPARC Valencia and on Sunday, Bulería, our newcomer giraffe will be two years old.

Las Fallas is one of the world’s largest, and loudest festivals. Valencia has been preparing through twelve months to honour St Joseph in this street festival that culminates in giant sculptures being burned on 19 March, which is also Father’s Day.
