Manises Golf Club

Having only nine holes, the Manises Golf Club creates a special atmosphere that is very welcoming to families and children. However, this is not an easy course to play in: the greens are surrounded by bunkers and the fairways are narrow and flanked by pine trees, meaning that any wayward shot is severely punished. The number 7 hole (4 par) is particularly famous for this. The course was built in 1954 and is the oldest in Valencia. Public transport will not take you to this golf course, but there is a bus every ten minutes to Manises from the bus station: CVT Manises.

This is the newest of the courses in the province of Valencia.  Despite this fact, it is fast gaining a reputation as one of the best courses in Spain. The numerous trees and the strategic placement of its eight lakes (few of the holes are without a water hazard) mean that selecting the right club is essential with each shot if you are to avoid serious trouble. Situated near to the Mediterranean shores between Oliva and Denia, this Severiano Ballesteros designed course, is an 18 hole Par 72 championship course of high quality with full practice facilities.
